Prove Me Wrong!

HILL OF SECRETS: A NOVEL
watercolor paper texture_edited.jpg

I try to be as historically accurate as possible.

Except for the divergence from facts explained in the historical notes at the end of Hill of Secrets, I — with help from some excellent editors — tried not to goof on the facts.

For example, I got rid of the mention of a plastic kiddie pool because an editor pointed out that they didn’t come into general use until the 1950s (although I found a reference to one in 1947 — but not in 1945).

That said, if you are one of those people who cares deeply about accuracy and you find an anachronism or other error, I’m always happy to learn (even though it is too late to change in the book). So, feel free to contact me — and please explain or show me your sources.
